PSA Test Guide
Everything men need to understand their PSA results — normal ranges by age, what raises PSA besides cancer, free PSA ratio, velocity, and when MRI is needed. No supplements sold here.
What is a PSA test?
Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a protein produced almost exclusively by prostate cells. A blood test measures its concentration in ng/mL. PSA is prostate-specific — not cancer-specific. BPH, prostatitis, recent ejaculation, and prostate procedures all raise PSA without cancer being present.
ManCore lets you log your PSA results over time, track PSA velocity (the rate of change), and bring trend data to your urologist instead of relying on single-point readings. Check your current number now with our free PSA tracker.
